It IS clean... but the whole flat-bar road bike thing never really worked for me. Aaand... rear derailleur only, and a pretty small chainring, means it's going to have pretty low gearing.
Conclusion: not a serious machine, but looks pretty slick. I'd say might work for relatively flat urban riding, if there's enough room for... probably 700x32 at least. I have been known to ride around here on a very heavy singlespeed, running 46x16 gears and 700x28's, with bullhorn bars. This would be a lot more efficient for that kind of thing (the hills are a bit much on that gear ratio), so for that, awesome. I couldn't personally get behind it, though. I'd either want a full-on road bike, or a full-on mountain, but not this.

The seats too high for human beings. No pedals. Elbows too pointy.
2/10 would not bike

The gearing looks similar to that ran on my brother's old 1x9 Gunnar Rockhound.Definitely not high enough to be a roadie or 'cross bike, but as an urban commuter might work well.
I do agree, for me it doesn't work, switching between my Surly Karate Monkey and Cross Check depending on the weather (read: snowing or not snowing) works just fine.
